Hope Grows
Community Farm Program
Dedication
This page is in memory of those horses that have touched our lives.
Each brought their own unique qualities and charm to our farm, and
we miss them. Some have passed on and some have relocated to other
farms.
Judge, pictured here, was especially loved by all. Judge spent his early
life as a hard-working Plow Horse. He was saved from euthanasia by Heartsong Equine Rescue Organization (HERO) and Hope Grows was
lucky enough to acquire him in 2011, where he served as a wonderful
addition to our program. His docile nature made him ideal for
working with children of all ages. Judge is in retirement now,
living a peaceful life in Benson, Vermont.

16-year-old bay registered Quarter Horse. This ex-reining mare has transitioned well into the therapy and lesson program. She is sweet and patient with easy going gaits.
Meghan
Megan: 11-year-old chestnut Belgian Hanoverian cross mare, bred by the Chauvin's. She is known for her couch-like ride and comfortable gaits.
Sammy
17-year-old flashy bay registered Arabian gelding, who was rescued by the Chauvin's. Sammy is gentle, kind, and very eager and willing to learn new things. He has rocking horse style movement to his gaits which makes him one of the most comfortable horses we have.
Twist
In memory of the beloved bay registered Warmblood. This dependable ex-jumping gelding was a wonderful addition to our farm. We will miss his gentle spirit.
